Permanent skilled level position in the Information Technology sector in Cape Town in South Africa (Western Cape).

Candidate will be the sole IT person on this site and he/she must have own transport and drivers licence.

He / She will need to look after +- 8 x Microsoft servers and about 50 workstations.

Must have solid Microsoft skills, good exposure to Exchange and AD , good with people and solid desktop support experience.


• Mirosoft Windows Server operating systems ( MS WIN SVR 2000, 2003, 2008, SBS)
• Microsoft Active Directory.
• Microsoft System Centre / E-Health or Similar applications
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems ( Win 2000, Win XP, Win Vista and Win 7)
• Desktop support and troubleshooting skills.
• Network troubleshooting skills.
• Red-Hat Linux, SuSE Linux, Ubuntu Linux
• Netapps SAN / NAS storage or Exposure to SAN / NAS technology
• Cisco Switches, Routers and ADSL lines.
• Microsoft Exchange.
• Microsoft Office (’97,2000, XP, 2010)
• Backup Exec.
• VMware, XenServer
• ESET Anti-Virus
• Customer / Site management
