Graduate CVs for the GDP 2011 program

Dear Colleagues,

As part of MTNSA’s Youth Development Strategy, MTN SA introduced the Graduate Development Program (GDP) in 2009 for the first time ever.

We are now planning the GDP intake for 2011-12:

          The aim is to acquire and develop key specialists’ skills to meet our business requirements through this program.
          The focus will be on developing graduates with a focus towards scare and/or specialist skills
          This HR L&D program aligns with other initiatives such as Internships in NWG, Learnerships in Consumer Ops, TOPP in Finance and Study Bursaries for students in universities.
The program is a 2 year developmental journey for graduates that expose them to a combination of experiential on-the-job learning assignments, as well as formal learning programs that aim to develop them holistically.

Opportunities exist currently for graduates with completed degrees in the following Business Units:

·       Customer Operations
·       Marketing
·       SSO: CEIE Dept

To apply or refer candidates for a graduate position, the applicant can register his/her CV on www.mtnjobs.co.za and apply for the relevant GDP position. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

The recruitment process will be driven by the Departmental HR Team.

Requirements:

·       The applicant must have completed his/her degree
·       Only South African citizens can apply
·       Should have an interest in the telecommunication environment
·       The applicant must be innovative, have the ability to build relationships and portray a can-do attitude
