Metallurgical Advisor – Roasting

 

Our client, a major Copper producer in the Democratic Republic of the Congo would like to interview experienced professionals for a contract position for Metallurgical Advisor – Roasting.

 

·         Salary up to $140,000 p.a (tax free),  depending on skills and experience plus benefits 

·         Six day working week

·         Single status position.

·         Benefits:  Up to 15% Bonus per year, Travel allowance, Vehicle, accommodation and meals provided,  84 days annual leave (total days off site), Medical, Group Benefits Scheme.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·         BSc. Degree in Extractive Metallurgy or equivalent

·         5 – 10 years experience within a Pyrometallurgical Environment/Base metals (copper) refining

·         Demonstrated experience in roasting processes (the extraction of metals from sulfide ores)

·         Ability to train Congolese nationals

·         Fluency in English

·         Ability to communicate in French will be a distinct advantage
